After less than a month on the market, actor Michelle Pfeiffer and TV writer David E. Kelley have sold their seven bedroom, 10 and a half bathroom home in the Pacific Palisades, the New York Post reports. It’s an altogether speedy turn around—the house was only built in 2019 and purchased by the power couple in January of 2020.
The home’s open-concept layout and living room wall of pocket doors leading to the backyard give it a definite contemporary feeling, while the numerous fireplaces, antique wood beams, and groin-vaulted ceilings in select rooms offer effortless character to the space. The luxurious primary bedroom features a fireplace, french doors onto a glass-railed patio, and two bathrooms, one with a soaking tub and a vanity specifically for hair and makeup.
In the basement, a large theater room, wine cellar that can home approximately 500 bottles, and guest bedrooms make an ideal space for hosting. The outdoor area includes an infinity pool, hot tub, lounge area, and stairway down to an artist’s studio that’s located underneath the upper lawn and drenched in sunlight provided by floor to ceiling windows. Alongside the studio is a private seating area, while the upper outdoor space overlooks the manicured lawns of the Riviera Golf Course.

Though the couple only owned the 10,330-square-foot home for a year and a half, they managed to profit $2.75 million from its sale. Prior to purchasing the home, Pfeiffer and Kelley sold their previous Palisades home and their San Francisco estate.
