 Barca want Pogba’s signature.

The France international has been an important player for the Red Devils for the past five and a half years, but now Pogba’s future is uncertain at Old Trafford. There are no plans to negotiate a contract even though his contract expires in June. It is reported that United are preparing for the departure of Pogba.

In the meantime, it looks like Barcelona have added the former Juventus midfielder to their priority transfer list  and they could open negotiations with his agent, Mino Raiola under Bosman law. An agreement may not be easily reached due to the salary cap regulations in La Liga. Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are also monitoring Pogba’s situation.

Since moving to Man Utd in 2016, Pogba has scored 39 goals and provided 50 assists in 222 appearances in all competitions. However, experts still assess that Pogba at Man Utd is still not playing properly.

Specifically, in the recent match against Atletico Madrid, Pogba struggled in midfield before being replaced by Nemanja Matic. Currently, United have not made any progress on extending Pogba’s contract. They can hardly make a breakthrough, especially with the tense relationship between the club and Raiola in recent times.
