Barcelona is still making moves to strengthen the squad to build a dream team. After making four signings in January, the Catalan giants will continue to operate in the 2022 summer transfer window.

Their priority will be recruiting a top 9 like Erling Haaland. The club is also monitoring players whose contracts expire in June to sign on a free form.

The interest of president Joan Laporta is also important for Barca to focus on a certain goal. A source from Sport shared, Laporta is a big fan of Real Betis midfielder Nabil Fekir . It looks like Barca might be willing to pay 60 million euros to try and sign him, although Betis will not sell him for less than 80 million euros.

Fekir caught the eye of Barca.

The Seville-based club were delighted with Fekir’s performance at Benito Villamarin. They even seek to extend the contract of the French star until 2026 and at the same time want to keep the other key pillars of the team such as Canales, Borja Iglesias, Alex Moreno and coach Manuel Pellegrino.

Therefore, Barca will have many difficulties in convincing Betis. However, Laporta and his associates are not giving up anytime soon.
